KLIA 4th in SmartTravelAsia.com poll

The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) has claimed the fourth spot in the Top 10 Airports Worldwide category of the SmartTravelAsia.com 2011 Best in Travel Poll, moving up a notch from last year.
Managing director of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), Tan Sri Bashir Ahmad, said the company placed great emphasis on continuously enhancing customer experience at its airports, particularly KLIA, through improving its service and facilies standard.
"What makes the award more meaningful is the respondents from Asia made up more than 50 per cent of the total respondents, which indicates KLIA's strong presence in this sector, challenging other popular airports in Asia," he said in a statement today.
Smart Travel Asia, the region's only dedicated travel magazine, has over one million readers worldwide. -- Bernama
