Bursa queries OWG on recent share price gain
KUALA LUMPUR (May 13): Only World Group Holdings Bhd (OWG) has been slapped with an unusual market activity (UMA) query by Bursa Malaysia today on the increase in its share price of late.
Shares of the leisure and hospitality services provider had gained about 10% since last Monday (May 4). At 3.52 pm today, OWG was down 7 sen or 2.55% at RM2.68, with some 346,500 shares done. Year-to-date, the stock has soared about 201% from 90 sen.
The current price gives it a market value of RM503.2 million.
In a filing with the stock exchange, OWG was instructed to disclose any corporate development related to its businesses and affairs that may account for the share price gain.
The company was also instructed to explain any rumour or report that may have been a contributing factor to the recent movement of its shares.
