Trading in IOI Properties' shares to be suspended tomorrow, pending material announcement

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 19): Trading in [size=16]IOI Properties Group Bhd (IOIPG) ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 1.80, Fundamental: 1.95) shares will be suspended from trading tomorrow (Oct 20), pending a material announcement.

Accordingly, the property developer said the trading in its structured warrants will also be suspended at the same time.

There are currently five structured warrants quoted and listed on Bursa Malaysia, namely IOIPG-CF, IOIPG-CG, IOIPG-CH, IOIPG-CI and IOIPG-CJ.

IOI Properties' net profit rose 3.09% to RM401.59 million for the fourth financial quarter ended June 30, 2015 (4QFY15), from RM389.57 million a year ago, on higher sales.

Revenue was higher by 47.3% to RM614.33 million, from RM417.17 million in the previous corresponding quarter.

For the full year ended June 30, 2015 (FY15), IOI Properties' net profit growth was flat at RM890.70 million, from RM889.92 million in FY14. Revenue however, jumped 31% to RM1.91 billion, from RM1.45 billion last year.

Shares in the IOI Properties fell three sen or 1.4% to close at RM2.12 today, with 1.66 million shares traded, giving it a market capitalisation of RM7.99 billion.
