KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 20): Trading of shares in timber firm Tadmax Resources Bhd has been suspended from 2.30pm to 5pm today, pending a material announcement.

In a statement on Bursa Malaysia's website, Tadmax said the stock exchange regulator had approved Tadmax's request for the suspension.

Prior to the suspension, Tadmax had risen as much as 11.5 sen or 22% to settle at 64 sen at 12.30pm.

The stock which traded among the bourse's most-active entities saw some 35 million shares done.
