Eng Teknologi to be taken private?

Eng Teknologi Holdings Bhd, a Malaysian maker of hard-disk drives and consumer-electronics parts, received notification from some major shareholders that could lead to the company being privatized, according to an exchange filing.
Its shares rose 5.6 per cent to RM1.90 in Kuala Lumpur today, before being suspended for this announcement at 11:04 a.m., Eng Teknologi said.
The stock will resume trading at 2:30 p.m., it said. -- Bloomberg
