By Surin Murugiah / theedgemarkets.com | November 26, 2015 : 9:33 AM MYTKUALA LUMPUR (Nov 26): Shares of Wintoni Group Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 0.00, Fundamental: 1.20) slumped in early trade today after the company said it was unable to submit its financial statement for the third quarter (3QFY15) ended Sept 30, which is due next Monday (Nov 30) due to loss of data following a recent break in of its office.
At 9.13am, Wintoni fell 2 sen to 14 sen with 5.70 million shares traded.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group said it required more time to seek third party opinion on the 3QFY15's financial statement.
Wintoni noted that if it fails to issue the outstanding 3QFY15 financial statement within five market days after the expiry of the deadline, Bursa Securities ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 1.70, Fundamental: 2.30) shall suspend trading of its shares with effect from Dec 8.
In view of the above, Wintoni said it is in the midst of finalising the outstanding 3QFY15 and is expecting to submit the financial statement to Bursa Securities by Dec 31.
