Wintoni slumps 14.29% on possible suspension

KUALA LUMPUR (May 6): Wintoni Group Bhd shares slumped 14.29% in early trade this morning after Bursa Malaysia Securities said Wintoni had failed to submit its annual report (AR) for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2015.
At 9.06am, Wintoni fell half a sen to 3 sen with 40,000 shares done.
“In the event the Company is unable to submit the 2015 AR on or before May 9, the trading in the above Company's securities will be suspended with effect from 9 am, Tuesday, May 10 until further notice,” said Bursa Securities today.
If a listed issuer fails to issue the outstanding financial statements within 6 months from the expiry of the relevant timeframes, in addition to any enforcement action that Bursa Securities may take, delisting procedures shall be commenced against such listed issuer.
