MAS climbs after new chairman named

Malaysian Airline System Bhd rose in Kuala Lumpur trading after the national carrier named Md. Nor Yusof as chairman after Mohamed Munir Abdul Majid quit the company.

The stock climbed 1.4 per cent to RM1.50 at 9:12 a.m. local time, set for the steepest increase since July 20. -- Bloomberg
