KPS Q2 pre-tax profit rises to RM4.6m

KPS Consortium Bhd's pre-tax profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011 rose to RM4.639 million from RM3.969 million in the same quarter last year.
However, its revenue fell to RM92.321 million from RM99.813 million in the same quarter last year, generally affected by the economic slowdown, it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.
For the half-year, its pre-tax profit increased to RM11.347 million from RM7.664 million in 2010.
Its revenue jumped to RM193.660 million from RM184.056 million previously. -- Bernama
