MAS served with Giro-Warranty complaint

Malaysian Airline System Bhd said it was served with a complaint from Giro-Warranty House International Inc, which is seeking as much as US$80 million for alleged breach of contract and fraudulent misrepresentation.
The complaint was served in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma on Aug 22, the national carrier said in a statement to the Kuala Lumpur stock exchange.
Malaysian Air is reviewing the matter with the assistance of an external counsel, it said. -- Bloomberg
