Amanah Mutual declares 8 sen payout

Amanah Mutual Bhd today announced a gross income distribution of eight sen per unit for AMB Index-Linked Trust Fund (AMBILTF) for the financial year ended Oct 31, 2011.

"Unit holders will receive the income distribution statement and the
distribution warrant no later than Dec 31, 2011," it said in a statement here.

Amanah Mutual said that as of Oct 31, 2011, the fund has recorded a total
return for five years of 69.11 per cent with an annualised return of 11.08 per
cent per annum.


AMBILTF was launched on May 16, 2002 at a par value of 50 sen per unit with
an approved fund size of 400 million units.

It is an equity fund with an investment objective of achieving results that
track the performance of the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI).

Amanah Mutual is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd, while Permodalan Nasional Bhd is its ultimate holding company. -- Bernama
