Tradewinds unit in pact with Gas Malaysia

Tradewinds (M) Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Gula Padang Terap Sdn Bhd
(GPTSB), has entered into a pre-supply agreement with Gas Malaysia Bhd
(GMB) for the construction of gas distribution pipeline and all other
works necessary for the supply of natural gas by GMB to GPTSB.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Tradewinds said GPTSB shall forward
to GMB RM9.160 million being payment for the estimated cost of the
facilities construction.
"In line with GPTSB's sugar refinery business, the agreement will
provide a steady supply of natural gas for GPTSB's operation," it said.
