Maybank issues RM1b subordinated notes

Malayan Banking Bhd. issued RM1 billion (US$316 million) of debt under a
subordinated note program of as much as RM3 billion to help fund the
bank’s working capital.
The bank issued RM750 million of 10-year notes at 3.97 per cent and
RM250 million of 12-year notes at 4.12 per cent, according to a
statement to the stock exchange today. -- Bloomberg
