KUALA LUMPUR: Ebworbx Bhd has received a letter from Hitachi Ltd which has expressed intention to acquire all of the outstanding
ordinary shares of the company.

The potential buyer is proposing to acquire the shares by making a conditional voluntary general offer to all shareholders with a minimum level of acceptance of no less than 85 per cent of the nominal value of the shares, excluding treasury shares, held by the company.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Ebworbx said the letter stated an indicative purchase offer price of RM0.90 per share. - Bernama
