Maxis introduces 20 exclusive applications

KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd (Maxis), Malaysia's leading integrated communications service provider, today introduced 20 new exclusive applications for smart devices such as iPhones, tablets and Androids.
The applications present a user-friendly interface for customers seeking useful local content for their smart devices.
"Maxis provides content-rich applications for Malaysia that will enhance the smart device experience for customers," said T.Kugan, Maxis' Vice-President and Head of Product, Device and Innovation during a demonstration of the applications today.
Maxis partnered local application developers to develop the content. "We are pleased to help nurture the Malaysia App development eco-system by partnering local developers.
"Maxis took the lead in the mobile content sphere with a non-voice revenue percentage of 43.5 per cent and over eight million mobile Internet and wireless broadband customers in the fourth quarter of last year," he added. - BERNAMA
