Ingens appointed sole P1 modem distributor
Ingens Sdn Bhd, a leading ICT distributor in Malaysia, has been appointed as the sole distributor for Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (P1) to supply P1 4G WiMAX modems to 858 P1
authorised resellers throughout Malaysia.
In a statement today, Ingens said the Distribution and Logistic Services agreement was signed by its Executive Director Low Gah Luen and P1 Chief Executive Officer Michael Lai.
Under the partnership, Ingens will facilitate and revolutionise the broadband industry by distributing the full range of advanced 4G modems from P1.
"Ingens is looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership to provide a seamless distribution network and develop winning go-to-market strategies with P1," Low said.
Meanwhile, P1's Lai said in the same statement: "P1's mission of Broadband for All is to reach out to as many Malaysians as we possibly can, in line with the National Broadband Initiative."
Riding on this collaboration, Ingens aimed to enhance the service delivery to all P1 authorised resellers by providing them with a faster, reliable, responsive and localised supply and logistic expert services in both Peninsular and East Malaysia.
It will add more value by enabling resellers to enjoy a wider range of 4G modem selections in meeting the different consumer needs.
Ingens said it is targeting to achieve RM125 million in total revenue, with a range of 6.5 per cent to 7.5 per cent profit margin, from this partnership for the first three quarters of its financial year ending March 31, 2013. -- Bernama
