DRB-Hicom extends GO

KUALA LUMPUR: DRB-Hicom Bhd has extended its general offer (GO) to minority shareholders of Proton Holdings Bhd to 5pm on May 9 from April 25.

Earlier, DRB-Hicom had offer to acquire all the remaining shares in Proton not already owned by DRB-Hicom for a cash offer price of RM5.50 per share.

As at April 23, DRB-Hicom has received acceptance of up to 11.93% in Proton. It now has 90.02% stake in Proton.
