Frasers Hospitality to manage UOA Camellia suites
UOA Development Bhd, one of the leading property developers here, has engaged Frasers Hospitality Pte Ltd to manage the
premium floors of the currently under construction Camellia Serviced Suites.
Camellia Serviced Suites is a residential cum hotel residential project located within the integrated development of Bangsar South.
In a statement by UOA Group, it said that this business engagement marks UOA's first collaboration with an international hospitality operator in its foray into the hotel residence sector.
The 34-storey Camellia Serviced Suites comprises 720 units with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM500 million and is slated for completion by middle of 2013.
The premium floors from level 22 to level 31 consisting 240 units will be managed by Frasers under a boutique hotel residence concept, 'Capri by Fraser', complemented by two exclusive rooftop levels of recreational and business
facilities.
UOA Development Chief Operating Officer David Khor said: "We are very excited to form a strategic alliance with Frasers, one of the highly regarded international-branded hotel residence management companies in the region.
"It also serves as an ideal platform for both companies to work in synergy by leveraging on each other's strong brand reputation and expertise to meet the increasing demand for quality hotel residences," he added.
Fraser Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Frasers Centrepoint Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fraser and Neave Ltd, is a global serviced residence owner and management company with Gold-Standard residences across Europe, North Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East and Australia.
