Maxis-owned Aircel gets new COO (6012)
Maxis-owned Aircel, India's fifth largest mobile phone company, will
appoint Dr Kaizad Heerjee as its chief operations officer next week, as
part of a major restructuring exercise.
Heerjee, former chief
executive officer of the Malaysian telecommunications company, U
Mobile, will report to Maxis Communications Chief Executive Officer and
Aircel Executive Director Sandip Das, the "Economic Times" reported,
quoting
sources.
Heerjee will assume the role of Gurdeep
Singh, who quit the company in January along with a few other
executives when Aircel underwent an organisational restructuring. --
