New North Klang Straits Bypass up for sale?

The New North Klang Straits Bypass (NNKSB), a 17.5 km highway in Klang, Selangor, may be up for sale.
The
government had as far back as August 1995 awarded the highway
concession to Lebuhraya Shapadu Sdn Bhd, but the company is now under
receivership.
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), as the liquidators,
took out an advertisement in a local daily today inviting prospective
qualified investors to submit expressions of interest to acquire the
assets and concession rights of a "17.5km multi-lane dual carriageway
linking North Port to Bukit Raja, Klang".
While it did not name the highway, sources confirmed that its was the NNKSB.
PwC said the expressway commenced operations in 2002 and that there are about 8 years left before the concession period expires.
