Hai-O 3Q net profit up slightly

KUALA LUMPUR: HAI-O ENTERPRISE BHD [] posted a marginally higher net profit of RM10.97 million for the third quarter ended Jan 31, compared with RM9.06 million a year ago.
Revenue came in at RM68.5 million, up 9% from RM62.79 million in the previous corresponding quarter. Earnings per share inched up to 5.54 sen from 4.55 sen previously.
For the nine months ended Jan 31, net profit jumped 52% to RM37.34 million or 18.85 sen per share from RM24.6 million or 12.37 sen per share the year before. Revenue grew 15.2% to RM195.8 million from RM169.9 million previously.
Hai-O’s share price has rebounded from RM2 last December to RM2.44 yesterday, up 22% in the past four months.
