KUALA LUMPUR (April 10): The Employees Provident Fund (EPF)has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of UEM LAND HOLDINGS BHD [] after the former's stake in the property developer fell to below 5%.

In a statement to the bourse today, UEM Land said the EPF stake has decreased after it sold 2.1 million shares of the developer in the open market.

According to UEM Land, the EPF had ceased to be a major shareholder in the firm since last Friday (April 5).

The EPF's stake in UEM Land stood at 5.71% as at end of last year.
