KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 23): ZECON BHD [] said its unit Zecon Medicare Sdn Bhd has been awarded a RM606 million government concession to undertake the CONSTRUCTION [] of a children’s hospital and to carry out asset management for 30 years.
The concession agreement signed with the Ministry of Education and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is in relation to the planning, designing, financing, development…and commissioning of related facilities and infrastructure of the hospital and to carry out the asset management Services.
Under the terms of the agreement, the concession period is for 30 years and the total construction cost is RM606 million.
The construction for the project is expected to be completed within 54 months from the commencement of the construction period.
And the total estimated payment for the maintenance services charges is RM4,477,124 per month.
