Merge Housing climbs on buyout offer
Merge Housing Bhd, a Malaysian property developer, rose to a 15-month high in Kuala Lumpur trading after receiving a buyout offer at 65 sen a share from two of its biggest shareholders.
The stock climbed 4.9 per cent to 64 sen at 9:02 a.m. local time, set for its highest close since March 25, 2010. -- Bloomberg
