UM Land climbs on buyout offer (4561)
United Malayan Land Bhd jumped 5.1 percent to RM2.48 in Kuala Lumpur
trading at 9.45am, on course for its highest close since October 2000.
The
property developer got a buyout offer at RM2.50 per share from Seleksi
Juang Sdn Bhd, United Malayan Land said in an exchange filing.
Seleksi
Juang is controlled by United Malayan Land Deputy Chairman Ng Eng Tee
and directors Ng Eng Soon and Syed Azmin Mohd Nursin, according to the
filing. -- Bloomberg
