KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 16): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts (FKLI) on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded mostly higher in the early session today, tracking better cash market.   
At 9.40 am, spot month October 2013 rose 6.5 points to 1,796, while November 2013 and December 2013 gained eight points each to 1,796 each, respectively.
However, March 2014 was untraded this morning and stood at 1,786.
Turnover stood at 1,789 lots while open interest totalled 41,863 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI was 7.53 points higher at 1,792.29 after 40 minutes of trading.
