KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 23): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded higher in the early session this morning, tracking the uptrend on the underlying cash market.
At 9.50 am, spot month October 2013 rose 4.5 points to 1,810.5, both November 2013 and December 2013 gained three points each to 1,810, respectively, while March 2014 added 3.5 points to 1,806.   
Turnover stood at 1,234 lots while open interest totalled 43,662 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI was 3.6 points higher at 1,807.18 after 52 minutes of trading.
