KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 6): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded mostly higher in the early session this morning on better cash market.

After 20 minutes of trading, spot month September 2013 rose 2.5 points to 1,704.5, October 2013 added two points to 1,703, while December 2013 and March 2014 were untraded at 1,695 and 1,690, respectively.

Turnover stood at 782 lots while open interest totalled 40,216 contracts.

At 9.20 am, the underlying FBM KLCI stood at 1,722.83, up 1.86 points.
