However, its revenue declined to RM377.02 million from RM416.23 million year-on-year (y-o-y).
For the nine months period to September (9MFY13), the group reported a higher net profit of RM97.51 million, from RM68.82 million a year ago.
The group’s revenue for the 9MFY13 increased to RM1.33 billion from RM1.29 billion.
Looking forward, the insurance company expects to increase its market share with the introduction of new products and services this year.
“The company will also be looking at increasing the number of exclusive or preferred partnerships with major financial institutions to grow the bank’s takaful business,” the group told Bursa Malaysia today.
