KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 19): Berjaya Assets Bhd’s net profit jumped 29%
year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM16.3 million in the second quarter ended Dec 31,
2013, from RM12.6 million.
Revenue also jumped 27% y-o-y to RM105.7 million from RM83.3 million.
A filing with Bursa Malaysia showed the firm recorded half-year net profit of
RM33 million versus RM35 million in the previous corresponding period, while
revenue was RM206 million versus RM164 million a year ago.
