KUALA LUMPUR (March 17): RHB Research has downgraded the aviation sector to Neutral (from Overweight) and said4Q13 was a disappointing quarter for the sector.
In a note Monday, the research house said the outlook for 2014 will continue to be challenging, with no yield recovery in sight as carriers continue to deploy capacity aggressively.
“We downgrade the sector from Overweight to Neutral following the recent downgrades in recommendation on MAS and AAX.
“Our Top Pick is now MAHB as its competitive air fares will stimulate passenger growth ahead,” it said.
