| Thursday, 22 May 2014 19:19 KUALA LUMPUR (May 22): Fima Corporation Bhd said its net profit for the fourth financial quarter ended March 31, 2014, rose 16.27% to RM10.17 million from RM8.7 million in similar quarter a year ago. Revenue for the quarter rose to RM99.90 million, from RM75.90 million a year ago. Net profits for the full year rose to RM67.39 million, from RM58.23 million a year ago. Cumulative revenue for the full year rose to RM348.38 million from RM 305.15 million a year ago. The company had declared a single-tier interim dividend of 15 sen and a single-tier special dividend of 5 sen, bringing the total to 20 sen. The board is confident that the group will achieve satisfactory results in 2014/2015. The company said : “Next year's outlook for production and trading of security and confidential documents continues to be firm whilst the prospects for oil palm production and processing is very much dependent on global commodity prices.” |
