Trading in Hibiscus’ shares suspended today pending announcement
KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 4): Trading in Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Financial Dashboard)’s shares has been suspended from 10.42am until 5pm today, per the company’s request, pending the release of an announcement.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Hibiscus said Bursa Securities ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Financial Dashboard) has approved of the aforesaid application.
Hibiscus was last traded at 86.5 sen, up 1.5 sen or 1.76%. The stock has been on a declining trend since Jan 17, 2014 — when it was trading at RM2.12 apiece — and fell to as low as 67.5 sen on June 2 this year.
However, it seems to be climbing a little from early this month. It was trading at 77.5 sen on July 1, which means it's now up 11.61% since.
The current market price gives it a market capitalisation of RM818.27 million.
