Hong Kong: Lower in nervous trade
STOCKS dipped 0.13 per cent yesterday in nervous trade as US lawmakers remained unable to strike a deal to prevent the world's richest country from defaulting on its debt repayments.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell 30.39 points to 22,541.69 on turnover of HK$73.86 billion.
However, Sun Art Retail jumped 40.6 per cent to HK$10.12 on its listing debut and Sands China surged 9.9 per cent to HK$23.40 . - AFP
