IRB to reject photocopies of BR1M form
BACHOK (Dec 16): The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) will not accept the
photocopy of the 1Malaysia People's Assistance (BR1M) form, Deputy
Finance Minister Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussin said.
He urged the applicants to ensure they filled up the original form, which had been distributed since early this month.
Speaking to reporters after handing over compassionate payments to
farmers of Kampung Alor Ganu here on Friday, he said, the IRB had its
own mechanism to verify whether a form was genuine.
He added
that the government issued sufficient number of the form to be filled
by those whose household income was less than RM3,000 a month. - Bernama
