KUALA LUMPUR (July 5): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mixed today, a dealer said.

July 2013 was 0.5 of a point lower at 1,775, August 2013 increased 0.5 of a point to 1,775.5 while both September 2013 and December 2013 were flat at 1,773.50 and 1,775.

Spot month December 2013 was untraded.

Turnover fell to 4,731 lots from 5,326 lots on Thursday, while open interest declined to 37,212 contracts from 37,370 contracts previously.

The underlying FBM KLCI firmed 0.93 of a point to close at 1,772.27 on Friday.
