| Thursday, 12 June 2014 20:18 KUALA LUMPUR (June 12): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI futures (FKLI) contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mixed today, amid weak sentiment. Phillip Futures Sdn Bhd dealer, Low Cheng Yang, said the spot month recouped losses incurred throughout the trading session, following the overnight sluggish performance of the US market, to close higher. June 2014 rose 1.6 points to 1,880 at the last minute, before the market closed. Low told Bernama that the US retail sales report to be released tonight, should provide a clearer clue for the economic climate of the world's largest economy. July 2014 was flat at 1,882, September 2014 declined 0.5 of a point to 1,878 and December 2014 shed 2.0 points to 1,876. Turnover decreased to 3,505 lots, from 4,746 lots on Wednesday, while open interest fell to 30,903 contracts, from 35,297 contracts previously. |
