knm and wa open and fly :D

but trading knm is very tricky.....
levels to consider
support 805 85 resistance 865 and 89c

tomorrow the symphany should be an interesting watch with a last minute spike to close at 27c

Market Close KLCI rises 0.3% on Tenaga; Asian markets fall

KUALA LUMPUR (Apr 7): The FBM KLCI vacillated between gains and losses today before rising 6.29 points or 0.3% to its intraday high at market close.

At 5.00 pm, the KLCI settled at 1,862.90, powered mainly by Tenaga Nasional Bhd's share gains. Tenaga rose 34 sen or 3% to RM11.68 on trades of some 13 million shares.

The KLCI had erased earlier losses primarily caused by the decline in Public Bank Bhd shares amid fall of Asian stocks after the decline in US markets last week.

In Malaysia today, M&A Securities Sdn Bhd research head Rosnani Rasul told theedgemalaysia.com over telephone that "foreign funds had sold Tenaga shares while local funds had supported the stock (Tenaga)."

Local funds bought Tenaga following the stock's decline last week. Tenaga fell after Morgan Stanley downgraded the national utility to "underweight" last week and cut its earnings per share forecast for the company by 10%.

Today, Bursa Malaysia saw 2.12 billion shares worth RM2.27 billion changed hands. There were 372 gainers versus 452 decliners.

The top gainer was British American Tobacco (M) Bhd while Public Bank led decliners. The most-active entity was KNM Group Bhd warrants.

Public Bank, which rose sharply last week, fell after analysts said the stock was overvalued. Public Bank shares are traded under PBBANK and Public Bank Bhd-Foreign (PBBANK-O1).

PBBANK and PBBANK-O1's decline on profit taking today followed both stocks' 4% rise last Friday. PBBANK and PBBANK-O1 rose 80 sen and 84 sen respectively to close at RM20.80 then.

PBBANK and PBBANK-O1 has been closely watched ahead of the merger of both stocks this April 16.

Today, Asian markets fell. Japan's Nikkei declined 1.69% while Hong Kong's Hang Seng dropped 0.59%.

Mainland China and Thailand markets were closed for holiday.

Reuters reported that Japanese shares were slugged on Monday by a one-two combination of a higher yen and a selloff in the tech sector, while the euro struggled with speculation of more policy easing at home.

As a result, MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was off a slim 0.2 percent, following two weeks of gains.

Malaysia's Statistics Department will announce this Thursday (April 10), the nation's February industrial output and manufacturing sales data.
