KUALA LUMPUR (June 4): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded higher at mid-day today, amid a mixed sentiment in the underlying cash market, dealers said.
As at lunch break, June 2013 rose three points to 1,768, July 2013 and December 2013 added four points each to 1,770.5 and 1,768.5 respectively, while September 2013 increased 4.5 points to 1,767.
Turnover stood at 3,455 lots, while open interest totalled 34,233 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI improved 2.87 points to 1,769.2.
