KUALA LUMPUR (July 19): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded higher at mid-day today in tandem with a firmer trend on the underlying cash market, dealers said.
At mid-day break, spot month July 2013 rose 7.5 points to 1,800.5, while August 2013 was seven points higher at 1,801.
September 2013 gained 8.5 points to 1,800 and December 2013 gained eight points to 1,802.
Turnover stood at 3,225 lots while open interest totalled 39,384 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI added 6.91 points to 1,798.45 after opening 2.84 points better at 1,794.38.
