KUALA LUMPUR (June 19): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded mostly higher in the early session today in line with a better cash market, dealers said.
At 9.34 am, spot month June 2013 rose seven points to 1,773.5, July 2013 gained 8.5 points to 1,777 and September 2013 added 5.5 points to 1,773.5. December 2013 remained untraded at 1,769.5.
Turnover stood at 1,716 lots while open interest totalled 30,959 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI rose 6.25 points to 1,780.3 after 34 minutes of trading.
