KLCI futures trade higher

KUALA LUMPUR (March 11): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher this morning.
At 9:30 am, March 2014 added 2.5 points to 1,823, April 2014 rose three points to 1,822.5 and June 2014 gained 3.5 points to 1,820.5. September 2014 stood at 1,817.
Turnover amounted to 658 lots while open interest totalled 31,308 contracts.
The benchmark FBM KLCI was 3.21 points higher at 1,825.27 after 30 minutes of trading.
