KUALA LUMPUR, (July 23): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives was firmer mid-day, tracking the uptrend in the underlying equity market, dealers said.
At lunch break, spot month July 2013 gained four points to 1,805.5, August 2013 increased 4.5 points to 1,807, September 2013 expanded five points to 1,805 and December 2013 added two points to 1,804.
Turnover stood at 3,342 lots while open interest totalled 37,942 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI rose 4.91 points to 1,802.59 at lunch-break.
