KUALA LUMPUR (June 7): The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly higher this morning despite the mixed performance on the underlying cash market, dealers said.
As at 9.15 am, both June 2013 and September 2013 were one point higher each at 1,767 and 1,768, respectively, while July 2013 and December 2013 were flat at 1,770 and 1,769.5, respectively.
Turnover stood at 418 lots while open interest totalled 30,734 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI was up 1.73 points higher at 1,777.33 after 15 minutes of trading.
