The buyers were sidelined due to lack of fresh leads, said a dealer.
At noon, the Malaysian Rubber Board's official physical price for tyre-grade SMR20 declined 2.5 sen to 730 sen a kg and latex-in-bulk slipped half-a-sen to 518.5 sen a kg. However, the unofficial closing price for tyre-grade SMR20 rose one sen to 731 sen a kg while latex-in-bulk was unchanged at 518.5 sen a kg.
