KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 14): Malaysian rubber prices closed lower for the third consecutive day this week, weighed by lack of buying interest for the commodity, dealers said.
The buyers were sidelined due to lack of fresh leads, said a dealer.
At noon, the Malaysian Rubber Board's official physical price for tyre-grade SMR20 declined 2.5 sen to 730 sen a kg and latex-in-bulk slipped half-a-sen to 518.5 sen a kg. However, the unofficial closing price for tyre-grade SMR20 rose one sen to 731 sen a kg while latex-in-bulk was unchanged at 518.5 sen a kg.
