By Gho Chee Yuan / theedgemarkets.com | November 9, 2015 : 11:56 AM MYTKUALA LUMPUR (Nov 9): Bursa Malaysia slapped Huat Lai Resources Bhd ([You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Valuation: 1.10, Fundamental: 0.75) with an unusual market activity (UMA) query after the poultry player's share price rose RM1.58 or 45% last week.
On Oct 30, Huat Lai shares closed at RM3.50. The stock ended last Friday (Nov 6) at RM5.08.
Today, Huat Lai rose as much as 12 sen or 2.4% to RM5.20. At 11:31am, the stock pared gains at RM5.15 for a market capitalisation of RM401.19 million.
Bursa told Huat Lai : "We draw your attention to the recent price rise of your company’s shares."
Huat Lai had not responded to Bursa's UMA query at the time of writing.
