At 9.35 am, spot month October 2013 gained 3.5 points to 1,809.5 while November 2013 and December 2013 rose three points each to 1,808 and 1,809, respectively.
Turnover stood at 892 lots while open interest totalled 43,093 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI was 2.76 points higher at 1,805.37 after 35 minutes of trading.
